This gorgeous handmade Ukrainian Hutsul (Carpathian) doll Ksenya was created with a traditional hand-embroidered costume. I was researching the Hutsul clothes, which are unique and very vibrant, and applied them to this doll: leather shoes "postoly", a unique headpiece. I also wanted to make a special " keptar " – a traditional Hutsul region vest made of sheep skin.
